Prompt: Putting posters of movie stars on the wall (peasant007)
Characters: Peggy Bradford, Nettie Bradford
Rating: G
Summary: The Bradford girls talk about boys.
Notes: Canon.  The girls are 2 ½ years apart in age, so they would be about 17 and 15 here respectively.
Word Count: 211

Peggy groaned as Nettie precariously balanced herself on her desk to pin yet another poster on the wall above it.

“You know Dad gets sore when we put too many pinholes in the wall,” she remarked as Nettie clambered down.

Nettie merely shrugged.  “It’s not like he comes in here very often.  I’ll just tell him it’s been there for a while.”

Peggy put down her magazine and looked up at the latest addition to her sister’s collection.  “Rock Hudsim again?  You’ve got three other posters of him already!”

“He’s so dreamy,” Nettie sighed.

“I don’t know,” Peggy said thoughtfully.  “I prefer James Dean myself.”

Nettie looked at her with disbelief.  “He’s dead, you know.”

“I know.  I cried for a week when it happened.  That doesn’t change the fact that I still think he’s handsome.”

Nettie made a face, and Peggy picked her magazine back up.  “Look at it this way, Nettie.  At least you don’t have to worry about me trying to steal him away from you.”

Nettie instantly brightened.  “That’s right!  I can have him all to myself.”

“Sure,” Peggy muttered too low for Nettie to hear.  “Not that you have a chance with him anyway.  When would a small town girl from Massimchusetts meet a Simmywood actor?”

Ooh, that makes me wonder if one of them actually will meet an actor!
